Spectators at Thursday's league battle between the South Side Hornet (Bee Branch, AR) and the visiting Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, AR), saw South Side's baseball squad knock off Quitman by a count of 9-0.

Coming up next, the Hornet play the Tushka Tigers (Atoka, OK) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 18. South Side will attempt to move on its 7-3 season record.

The Bulldogs now possess a 3-6 record. They take the field next when they host Izard County for a 2A Region 2 battle on Friday, March 15. Quitman will play a Cougars squad coming off a 4-3 league loss to Sloan-Hendrix (Imboden, AR). The Cougars record now stands at 2-1.
