The Vanguard College Prep Lions held off the host Humphreys Able Charter Legacy volleyball team by a score of 3-2 in Thursday's league test.

The Lions now have a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host River Islands for a non-league test on Friday, March 15. Vanguard College Prep will confront a Riptide team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Central Catholic (Modesto, CA). The Riptide record now stands at 1-0.

The Legacy (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Ben Holt College Prep Academy (Stockton, CA). The Bobcats enter the Mountain Valley test with a 6-2 record.
