California High School Volleyball - Prospect over Independence

The Prospect Panthers (Saratoga, CA) volleyball overcame the visiting Independence 76ers (San Jose, CA), 3-1 in Thursday's league outing.

With the win, Prospect upgrades its record to 5-5 on the year. The Panthers host Leigh (San Jose, CA) to face the Longhorns in a BVAL - Mt. Hamilton outing on Tuesday, March 19. The Longhorns go into the outing with a record of 6-2. Leigh won 3-0 in their recent non-league outing against Basis Independent Silicon Valley (San Jose, CA)

The 76ers now own a 3-2 record. They play next when they host Evergreen Valley for a BVAL - Mt. Hamilton outing on Tuesday, March 19. Independence will face a Cougars squad coming off a 3-1 league loss to Branham (San Jose, CA). The Cougars record now stands at 2-1.
