The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA) and the host Apalachee Wildcats (Winder, GA), saw Lanier's soccer squad knock off Apalachee by a count of 2-0.

The Longhorns now hold a 6-6 record. They play next when they host Habersham Central for a 6A Region 8 test on Tuesday, March 19. Lanier will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 12-2 league win over Shiloh (Snellville, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Apalachee drops to 0-12 on the season. The Wildcats host Providence Christian Academy (Lilburn, GA) to meet the Storm in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 19. The Storm come into the test with a record of 5-5. Providence Christian Academy lost 5-1 in their recent league test against East Jackson (Commerce, GA)
