In Thursday's non-league battle, the host Hickory Grove Christian Lions soccer squad scored a good 8-0 triumph over the Monroe Redhawks.

The Lions (5-0) will now prepare for their battle against Davidson Day (Davidson, NC). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 3-0 record. In their last battle, Davidson Day thwarted Gaston Day (Gastonia, NC), 4-0, in a non-league battle.
