The Apex Friendship Patriots lacrosse team scored 14 points and held the visiting Apex Cougars to 5 in the Patriots league win on Thursday.
The Patriots (5-0) will now prepare for their match against Jordan (Durham, NC). The Falcons go into the non-league match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Jordan prevailed over Croatan (Newport, NC), 13-12, in a non-league match.
The Cougars (2-5) will now prepare for their match against Panther Creek (Cary, NC). The Catamounts go into the Southwest Wake match with a 1-3 record. In their last match, Panther Creek was overwhelmed by Green Hope (Cary, NC), 11-1, in a league match.
