In Thursday's non-league battle, the Atkins Camels (Winston-Salem, NC) lacrosse squad edged the visiting Southwest Guilford Cowboys (High Point, NC), by a count of 5-4.

Coming up next, the Camels clash with the North Davidson Black Knights (Lexington, NC) in a Mid-State/Mid Piedmont/NW Piedmont battle, on Monday, March 18. Atkins will attempt to advance on its 4-3 season record. The Black Knights come into the battle with a 3-3 record after their 1-0 league win over High Point Central (High Point, NC).

The Cowboys now own a 1-5 record. They take the field next when they host Atkins for a non-league battle on Thursday, March 21.
