The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Lanier Longhorns (Sugar Hill, GA) and the host Apalachee Wildcats (Winder, GA), saw Lanier's soccer squad get by Apalachee by a margin of 2-1.

The Longhorns now sport a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Habersham Central for a 6A Area 8 test on Tuesday, March 19. Lanier will meet a Raiders squad coming off a 5-1 league win over Shiloh (Snellville, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 8-2.

With the loss, Apalachee drops to 3-10 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Lambert (Suwanee, GA) to meet the Longhorns in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 19. The Longhorns come into the test with a record of 9-1. Lambert won 4-0 in their recent league test against Forsyth Central (Cumming, GA)
