The crowd at Thursday's league test between the Maple Mountain Golden Eagles (Spanish Fork, UT) and the visiting Cedar Valley Aviators (Eagle Mountain, UT), saw Maple Mountain's soccer squad get by Cedar Valley by a count of 2-1.
The Golden Eagles now hold a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Wasatch for a 5A Region 7 test on Tuesday, March 19. Maple Mountain will meet a Wasps squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Spanish Fork (Spanish Fork, UT). The Wasps record now stands at 4-0.
With the loss, Cedar Valley drops to 1-3 on the season. The Aviators host Wasatch (Heber City, UT) to meet the Wasps in a 5A Region 7 test on Thursday, March 21. The Wasps come into the test with a record of 4-0.
