The Pineville Rebels the visiting Barbe Buccaneers softball squad by a final score of 6-2 in Thursday's non-league battle.
The Rebels (7-10) will now prepare for their battle against Grant (Dry Prong, LA). The Cougars go into the non-league battle with a 9-6 record. In their last battle, Grant held off Vidalia (Vidalia, LA), 6-1, in a non-league battle.
The Buccaneers now possess a 10-12 record. They play next when they travel to North DeSoto for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 16. Barbe will meet a Griffins squad coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to St. Thomas More (Lafayette, LA). The Griffins record now stands at 18-2.
