Santa Rosa Academy Rangers (Menifee, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting California Military Institute Rough Riders (Perris, CA), 12-0 in a league challenge.

The Rangers now own a 6-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Desert Christian Academy for a South Valley challenge on Tuesday, March 19. Santa Rosa Academy will battle a Conquerors squad coming off a 17-1 league loss to San Jacinto Valley Academy (San Jacinto, CA). The Conquerors record now stands at 1-3.

With the loss, California Military Institute falls to 0-2 on the campaign. The Rough riders host Nuview Bridge (Nuevo, CA) to battle the Knights in a South Valley challenge on Tuesday, March 19. The Knights enter the challenge with a record of 3-5. Nuview Bridge won 26-14 in their recent league challenge against Desert Christian Academy (Bermuda Dunes, CA)
