Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Chaffey Tigers (Ontario, CA) and the visiting Ontario Jaguars (Ontario, CA), witnessed Chaffey's softball squad tip Ontario by a count of 6-1.

The Tigers now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Don Lugo for a Mt. Baldy match on Tuesday, March 19. Chaffey will face a Conquistadores squad coming off a 12-1 league win over Baldwin Park (Baldwin Park, CA). The Conquistadores record now stands at 9-2.

With the loss, Ontario moves to 2-6 on the season. The Jaguars host Chino (Chino, CA) to encounter the Cowboys in a Mt. Baldy test on Tuesday, March 19. The Cowboys come into the test with a record of 2-6. Chino lost 6-3 in their recent non-league test against California (Whittier, CA)
