Spectators at Thursday's league match between the Edison Chargers (Huntington Beach, CA) and the visiting Corona del Mar Sea Kings (Newport Beach, CA), witnessed Edison's softball squad prevail over Corona del Mar by a count of 12-0.

The Chargers now sport a 5-8 record. They play next when they travel to Sunny Hills for a non-league match on Tuesday, March 19. Edison will meet a Lancers squad coming off a 5-2 non-league loss to Warren (Downey, CA). The Lancers record now stands at 4-6.

With the loss, Corona del Mar moves to 1-8 on the season. The Sea kings host Newport Harbor (Newport Beach, CA) to meet the Sailors in a Sunset match on Tuesday, March 19. The Sailors go into the match with a record of 1-10. Newport Harbor lost 6-0 in their recent non-league match against San Juan Hills (San Juan Capistrano, CA)
