North Carolina High School Softball - East Gaston bounces Lincoln Charter

March 14, 2024: Mt. Holly, NC 28120

Spectators at Thursday's non-league match between the East Gaston Warriors (Mt. Holly, NC) and the visiting Lincoln Charter Eagles (Denver, NC), witnessed East Gaston's softball squad tip Lincoln Charter by a count of 10-6.

The Warriors now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Shelby for a Southern Piedmont 1A/2A match on Tuesday, March 19. East Gaston will meet a Golden Lions squad coming off a 23-4 league loss to Cherryville (Cherryville, NC). The Golden Lions record now stands at 4-2.

With the loss, Lincoln Charter moves to 4-3 on the season. The Eagles travel to Mountain Island Charter (Mt. Holly, NC) to meet the Raptors in a Catawba Shores Athletic 1A/2A match on Friday, March 15. The Raptors go into the match with a record of 0-3. Mountain Island Charter lost 5-3 in their recent league match against Lincoln Charter (Denver, NC)
