Freedom Area Bulldogs (Freedom, PA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Rochester Rams (Rochester, PA), 8-5 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Carlynton for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 18. Freedom Area will battle a Cougars squad coming off a 13-1 non-league loss to Keystone Oaks (Pittsburgh, PA). The Cougars record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Rochester falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Freedom Area (Freedom, PA) to battle the Bulldogs in a non-league challenge on Thursday, March 21. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 2-0.
