The Southside Panthers softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Glencoe Yellowjackets to 5 in the Panthers non-league triumph on Thursday.

With the triumph, Southside moves its record to 13-3 on the year. The Panthers host Piedmont (Piedmont, AL) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league game on Monday, March 18. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 4-0.

In their next game, the Yellowjackets clash with the Cedar Bluff Tigers (Cedar Bluff, AL) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 15. Glencoe will attempt to move on its 6-10 season record. The Tigers come into the game with a 6-3 record after their 11-0 league win over Faith Christian (Anniston, AL).
