With the triumph, Vance County improves its record to 2-1 on the year. The Vipers travel to J.F. Webb (Oxford, NC) to clash with the Warriors in a Northern Lakes Athletic 2A/3A game on Tuesday, March 19. The Warriors come into the game with a record of 0-4. J.F. Webb lost 17-16 in their recent league game against Carrboro (Carrboro, NC)

In their next game, the Panthers clash with the Carrboro Jaguars (Carrboro, NC) in a Northern Lakes Athletic 2A/3A game, on Friday, March 22. Granville Central will attempt to improve on its 0-3 season record. The Jaguars come into the game with a 1-5 record after their 18-4 non-league loss to Riverside-Durham (Durham, NC).
