Mountain Empire Redhawks (Pine Valley, CA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Julian Eagles (Julian, CA), 22-8 in a non-league challenge.

The Redhawks now own a 1-1 record. They take the field next when they host Victory Christian Academy for a Patriot challenge on Tuesday, April 9.

With the loss, Julian falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Orange Glen (Escondido, CA) to battle the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Monday, March 18. The Patriots enter the challenge with a record of 1-2. Orange Glen lost 16-6 in their recent non-league challenge against Fallbrook (Fallbrook, CA)
