Alabama High School Softball - Locust Fork holds off Oneonta

The Locust Fork Hornets the host Oneonta Redskins softball squad by a count of 3-1 in Thursday's non-league battle.

The Hornets (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Oak Grove (Bessemer, AL). The Tigers go into the non-league battle with a 7-5 record. In their last battle, Oak Grove by Hueytown (Hueytown, AL), 7-3, in a non-league battle.

The Redskins now sport a 4-10 record. They play next when they host Ashville for a 4A Area 12 battle on Monday, March 18. Oneonta will meet a Bulldogs squad coming off a 6-1 league win over Etowah (Attalla, AL). The Bulldogs record now stands at 9-4.
