Alabama High School Softball - Valley Head can't hold off Section

The Section Lions softball team scored 8 runs and limited the visiting Valley Head Tigers to 7 in the Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.
With the triumph, Section improves its record to 6-4 on the year. The Lions travel to Pisgah (Pisgah, AL) to clash with the Eagles in a non-league game on Saturday, March 16. The Eagles come into the game with a record of 3-3.
In their next game, the Tigers clash with the Sand Rock Wildcats (Leesburg, AL) in a non-league game, on Friday, March 15. Valley Head will attempt to improve on its 1-7 season record. The Wildcats come into the game with a 3-8 record after their 12-9 league loss to Fyffe (Fyffe, AL).
