Summerfield Rebels (Summerfield, LA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Union Parish Farmers (Farmerville, LA), 15-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Rebels now own a 7-2 record. They take the field next when they host Gibsland-Coleman for a non-league challenge on Saturday, March 16. Summerfield will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 9-4 non-league win over Saline (Saline, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-1.

With the loss, Union Parish falls to 2-9 on the campaign. The Farmers travel to Carroll (Monroe, LA) to battle the Bulldogs in a 3A District 1 challenge on Friday, March 15. The Bulldogs enter the challenge with a record of 6-4. Carroll lost 15-0 in their recent league challenge against North Webster (Springhill, LA)
