Wahama White Falcons (Mason, WV) backers exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they saw their softball squad run past the visiting Williamstown Yellowjackets (Williamstown, WV), 18-3 in a league challenge.

The White Falcons now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Ripley for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 15.

With the loss, Williamstown falls to 0-1 on the campaign. The Yellowjackets travel to South Harrison (Lost Creek, WV) to battle the Hawks in a Little Kanawha challenge on Saturday, March 16. The Hawks enter the challenge with a record of 1-0. South Harrison won 9-7 in their recent league challenge against Webster County (Upper Glade, WV)
