The Altamont Knights baseball team scored 24 runs and held the host Midfield Patriots to 0 in the Knights league win on Friday.
The Knights now hold a 9-3 record. They take the field next when they host Homewood for a non-league test on Monday, March 17.
With the defeat, Midfield drops to 0-11 on the year. The Patriots host Pinson Valley (Pinson, AL) to play the Indians in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 18. The Indians go into the test with a record of 3-13.
