Next up, the Pioneers battle the Santa Fe Indians (Santa Fe, TX) in a 5A Region III District 18 outing, on Tuesday, March 18. Iowa Colony will attempt to advance on its 15-2 season record. The Indians come into the outing with a 7-5 record after their 3-1 league win over Angleton (Angleton, TX).

The Tornadoes (4-11) will now prepare for their outing against La Porte (La Porte, TX). The Bulldogs come into the 5A Region III District 18 outing with a 10-8 record. In their last outing, La Porte tipped Texas City (Texas City, TX), 4-1, in a league outing.
