Georgia High School Baseball - Fitzgerald sneaks past Berrien

The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane (Fitzgerald, GA) and the host Berrien Rebels (Nashville, GA), saw Fitzgerald's baseball team get by Berrien by a tally of 2-1.
The Purple Hurricane (8-7) will now prepare for their battle against Worth County (Sylvester, GA). The Rams enter the A D1 Region 1 battle with a 11-4 record. In their last battle, Worth County was tipped by Jeff Davis (Hazlehurst, GA), 10-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Rebels face the Brantley County Herons (Nahunta, GA) in a A D1 Region 1 battle, on Tuesday, March 18. Berrien will attempt to upgrade on its 5-9 season record. The Herons enter the battle with a 0-13 record after their 5-4 league loss to Fitzgerald (Fitzgerald, GA).
