In Friday's league game, the visiting Valdosta Wildcats baseball team scored a close 8-6 win over the Camden County Wildcats.
The Wildcats (10-6) will now prepare for their game against Richmond Hill (Richmond Hill, GA). The Wildcats go into the AAAAAA Region 1 game with a 9-7 record. In their last game, Richmond Hill by Tift County (Tifton, GA), 9-8, in a league game.
Next, the Wildcats play the Lowndes Vikings (Valdosta, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 1 game, on Tuesday, March 18. Camden County will attempt to improve on its 4-11 season record. The Vikings go into the game with a 10-5 record after their 2-1 league win over Colquitt County (Norman Park, GA).
