The crowd at Friday's league battle between the Flippin Bobcats (Flippin, AR) and the host Cave City Cavemen (Cave City, AR), saw Flippin's baseball team get by Cave City by a tally of 5-4.

The Bobcats (4-2) will now prepare for their battle against Valley Springs (Valley Springs, AR). The Tigers enter the 3A Region 2 battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Valley Springs held off West Fork (West Fork, AR), 10-0, in a non-league battle.

Next, the Cavemen face the Bergman Panthers (Bergman, AR) in a 3A Region 2 battle, on Monday, March 17. Cave City will attempt to upgrade on its 3-3 season record. The Panthers enter the battle with a 1-1 record after their 9-8 non-league win over Alpena (Alpena, AR).
