The Chilton County Tigers baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Jemison Panthers to 5 in the Tigers non-league win on Friday.
The Tigers now hold a 11-7 record. They take the field next when they host Calera for a 6A Area 5 test on Tuesday, March 18.
With the defeat, Jemison drops to 8-6 on the year. The Panthers host Fayetteville (Sylacauga, AL) to play the Wolves in a non-league test on Monday, March 17. The Wolves go into the test with a record of 11-5. Fayetteville won 12-0 in their recent league test against Comer (Sylacauga, AL)
