Georgia High School Baseball - Franklin County edges Crescent

In Friday's non-league game, the host Franklin County Lions baseball team scored a close 7-4 win over the Crescent Tigers.

The Lions (11-2) will now prepare for their game against Prince Avenue Christian (Athens, GA). The Wolverines go into the AA Region 8 game with a 12-2 record. In their last game, Prince Avenue Christian nudged North Cobb Christian (Kennesaw, GA), 17-0, in a non-league game.

Next, the Tigers play the Greenwood Christian Hawks (Greenwood, SC) in a non-league game, on Monday, March 17. Crescent will attempt to improve on its 1-4 season record. The Hawks go into the game with a 5-4 record after their 14-1 league win over Spartanburg Day (Spartanburg, SC).
