Texas High School Baseball - Mesquite wallops DeSoto

March 14, 2025: DeSoto, TX 75115

The Mesquite Skeeters baseball team scored 20 runs and held the host DeSoto Eagles to 4 in the Skeeters league win on Friday.

The Skeeters now hold a 12-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Royse City for a non-league test on Saturday, March 15. Mesquite will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 7-2 league win over Rockwall (Rockwall, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-3.

With the defeat, DeSoto drops to 3-7 on the year. The Eagles travel to Duncanville (Duncanville, TX) to play the Panthers and Pantherettes in a 6A Region II District 11 test on Tuesday, March 25. The Panthers and Pantherettes go into the test with a record of 7-11.
