The East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC) baseball trounced the host Lexington Yellowjackets (Lexington, NC), 18-2 in Friday's league challenge.

The Golden Eagles now own a 3-4 record. They take the field next when they host Forsyth Home Educators for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 17. East Davidson will clash with a Hawks team coming off a 11-0 league win over Asheboro Hybrid Academy (Asheboro, NC). The Hawks record now stands at 1-3.

With the defeat, Lexington drops to 1-4 on the year. The Yellowjackets host South Davidson (Denton, NC) to clash with the Wildcats in a Central Carolina 1A/2A challenge on Tuesday, March 18. The Wildcats go into the challenge with a record of 2-5. South Davidson lost 11-10 in their recent league challenge against North Rowan (Spencer, NC)
