The crowd at Friday's league battle between the East Rutherford Cavaliers (Forest City, NC) and the host Patton Panthers (Morganton, NC), saw East Rutherford's baseball team gain a win over Patton by a tally of 10-0.

The Cavaliers (6-0) will now prepare for their battle against East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC). The Cavaliers enter the non-league battle with a 5-2 record. In their last battle, East Burke prevailed over Bunker Hill (Claremont, NC), 5-4, in a league battle.

Next, the Panthers face the McDowell Titans (Marion, NC) in a non-league battle, on Monday, March 17. Patton will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record. The Titans enter the battle with a 4-3 record after their 4-2 league win over A.C. Reynolds (Asheville, NC).
