The Georgetown Eagles triumphed over the host Pflugerville Connally Cougars baseball squad by a score of 18-0 in Friday's league outing.
Next up, the Eagles battle the Marble Falls Mustangs (Marble Falls, TX) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, March 15. Georgetown will attempt to advance on its 7-7 season record. The Mustangs come into the outing with a 5-8 record after their 9-4 league win over Burnet (Burnet, TX).
The Cougars (3-8) will now prepare for their outing against Pflugerville (Pflugerville, TX). The Panthers come into the 5A Region III District 23 outing with a 5-7 record. In their last outing, Pflugerville was overwhelmed by Bastrop (Bastrop, TX), 1-0, in a non-league outing.
