The Rayville Hornets baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Georgetown Bulldogs to 12 in the Hornets non-league win on Friday.
The Hornets now hold a 4-7 record. They take the field next when they host Bastrop for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 18.
With the defeat, Georgetown drops to 0-2 on the year. The Bulldogs host Plain Dealing (Plain Dealing, LA) to play the Lions in a non-league test on Monday, March 17. The Lions go into the test with a record of 2-5. Plain Dealing lost 20-0 in their recent league test against Glenbrook (Minden, LA)
