The Harnett Central Trojans baseball team scored 17 runs and held the host Westover Wolverines to 2 in the Trojans league win on Friday.
The Trojans now own a 5-1 record. They take the field next when they host Pine Forest for a All American 3A/4A test on Tuesday, March 18. Harnett Central will clash with a Trojans team coming off a 12-1 league win over Western Harnett (Lillington, NC). The Trojans record now stands at 6-2.
With the defeat, Westover drops to 0-5 on the year. The Wolverines host Western Harnett (Lillington, NC) to clash with the Eagles in a All American 3A/4A test on Tuesday, March 18. The Eagles go into the test with a record of 0-7. Western Harnett lost 12-1 in their recent league test against Pine Forest (Fayetteville, NC)
