The Lanier County Bulldogs (Lakeland, GA) baseball the host Irwin County Indians (Ocilla, GA), 3-0 in Friday's league challenge.
The Bulldogs now own a 9-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Atkinson County for a A D2 Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, March 18. Lanier County will clash with a Rebels team coming off a 18-2 league win over Brooks County (Quitman, GA). The Rebels record now stands at 7-8.
With the defeat, Irwin County drops to 10-3 on the year. The Indians host Turner County (Ashburn, GA) to clash with the Titans in a A D2 Region 2 challenge on Tuesday, March 18. The Titans go into the challenge with a record of 3-10. Turner County won 6-3 in their recent league challenge against Echols County (Statenville, GA)
