The Saline Bobcats baseball team scored 16 runs and held the visiting Lincoln Prep Panthers to 0 in the Bobcats non-league win on Friday.

The Bobcats now hold a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Summerfield for a non-league test on Tuesday, March 18. Saline will play a Rebels team coming off a 16-1 non-league loss to Castor (Castor, LA). The Rebels record now stands at 0-6.

With the defeat, Lincoln Prep drops to 0-7 on the year. The Panthers host Jonesboro-Hodge (Jonesboro, LA) to play the Tigers in a 1A District 1 test on Saturday, March 15. The Tigers go into the test with a record of 3-3. Jonesboro-Hodge lost 24-1 in their recent non-league test against Haynesville (Haynesville, LA)
