The North Oconee Titans baseball team scored 7 runs and held the host Madison County Red Raiders to 1 in the Titans league win on Friday.
The Titans now hold a 12-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Walnut Grove for a AAAA Region 8 test on Tuesday, March 18. North Oconee will play a Warriors team coming off a 10-0 league win over Eastside (Covington, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 11-4.
With the defeat, Madison County drops to 2-13 on the year. The Red raiders host Flowery Branch (Flowery Branch, GA) to play the Falcons in a AAAA Region 8 test on Tuesday, March 18. The Falcons go into the test with a record of 7-6. Flowery Branch lost 9-8 in their recent league test against East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA)
