The Magazine Rattlers (Magazine, AR) baseball trounced the visiting Western Yell County Wolverines (Havana, AR), 25-6 in Friday's league challenge.
The Rattlers now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Cedarville for a non-league challenge on Monday, March 17. Magazine will clash with a Pirates team coming off a 17-0 league loss to Lavaca (Lavaca, AR). The Pirates record now stands at 0-3.
With the defeat, Western Yell County drops to 0-5 on the year. The Wolverines travel to Mulberry (Mulberry, AR) to clash with the Yellowjackets in a 1A Region 4 challenge on Tuesday, March 18. The Yellowjackets go into the challenge with a record of 1-1.
