Nevada High School Baseball - Moapa Valley edges Pahrump Valley

The Moapa Valley Pirates (Overton, NV) baseball the visiting Pahrump Valley Trojans (Pahrump, NV), 4-2 in Friday's non-league challenge.

The Pirates now own a 7-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Springville for a non-league challenge on Friday, March 21. Moapa Valley will clash with a Red Devils team coming off a 8-5 non-league loss to Union (Roosevelt, UT). The Red Devils record now stands at 2-3.

With the defeat, Pahrump Valley drops to 11-3 on the year. The Trojans host Needles (Needles, CA) to clash with the Mustangs in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, March 18. The Mustangs go into the challenge with a record of 4-5. Needles won 14-3 in their recent non-league challenge against Chinle (Chinle, AZ)
