The Ooltewah Owls triumphed over the visiting Northwest Whitfield Bruins baseball squad by a score of 17-5 in Friday's non-league outing.
Next up, the Owls battle the Heritage Generals (Ringgold, GA) in a non-league outing, on Tuesday, March 18. Ooltewah will attempt to advance on its 7-0 season record. The Generals come into the outing with a 11-3 record after their 9-1 league win over Ridgeland (Rossville, GA).
The Bruins (6-9) will now prepare for their outing against Calhoun (Calhoun, GA). The Yellow Jackets come into the AAA Region 7 outing with a 8-7 record. In their last outing, Calhoun was overwhelmed by Dalton (Dalton, GA), 7-3, in a non-league outing.
