The South Gibson Hornets baseball team scored 13 runs and held the visiting Scotts Hill Lions to 2 in the Hornets non-league win on Friday.
The Hornets now own a 6-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Arlington for a non-league test on Monday, March 17. South Gibson will clash with a Tigers team coming off a 9-4 non-league win over Father Ryan (Nashville, TN). The Tigers record now stands at 4-2.
With the defeat, Scotts Hill drops to 0-6 on the year. The Lions travel to Fayette Academy (Somerville, TN) to clash with the Vikings in a non-league test on Monday, March 17. The Vikings go into the test with a record of 3-1. Fayette Academy won 6-5 in their recent non-league test against Southaven (Southaven, MS)
