With the triumph, West Laurens moves its record to 10-4 on the season. The Raiders host Morgan County (Madison, GA) to confront the Bulldogs in a non-league contest on Monday, March 17. The Bulldogs come into the contest with a record of 11-2. Morgan County won 13-2 in their recent non-league contest against Newton (Covington, GA)

The Patriots now possess a 8-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Harlem for a AAA Region 4 contest on Tuesday, March 18. Westside will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 10-0 non-league win over North Augusta (North Augusta, SC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 15-0.
