In Friday's non-league contest, the host Sterling Black Bears basketball team scored a good 76-59 triumph over the Ell-Saline Cardinals.
The Black Bears (22-3) will now prepare for their contest against Moundridge (Moundridge, KS). The Wildcats go into the non-league contest with a 24-0 record. In their last contest, Moundridge topped Valley Falls (Valley Falls, KS), 74-46, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cardinals confront the Valley Falls Dragons (Valley Falls, KS) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, March 15. Ell-Saline will attempt to better on its 19-4 season record. The Dragons go into the contest with a 20-4 record after their 58-54 non-league win over Syracuse (Syracuse, KS).
