Fans at Friday's non-league battle between the York Cougars (York, SC) and the host South Pointe Stallions (Rock Hill, SC), saw York's soccer squad hold off South Pointe by a count of 1-0.
The Cougars (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Camden (Camden, SC). The Bulldogs enter the battle with a 6-0 record. In their last battle, Camden tipped Sumter (Sumter, SC), 7-0, in a non-league battle.
Next up, the Stallions battle the Lancaster Bruins (Lancaster, SC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, March 18. South Pointe will attempt to upgrade on its 0-2 season record.
