The Alleghany Trojans baseball team scored 9 runs and held the host South Stokes Sauras to 1 in the Trojans non-league win on Friday.

The Trojans now own a 2-3 record. They take the field next when they host Surry Central for a non-league test on Thursday, March 20. Alleghany will clash with a Golden Eagles team coming off a 10-6 non-league loss to Forbush (East Bend, NC). The Golden Eagles record now stands at 2-1.

With the defeat, South Stokes drops to 1-3 on the year. The Sauras host East Wilkes (Ronda, NC) to clash with the Cardinals in a non-league test on Tuesday, March 25. The Cardinals go into the test with a record of 0-2.
