St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions (Atlanta, GA) backers exited the stadium satisfied Friday as they saw their lacrosse team nip the host Greater Atlanta Christian Spartans (Norcross, GA), 7-6 in a non-league game.

With the victory, St. Pius X Catholic improves its record to 6-3 on the season. The Golden Lions travel to Dunwoody (Dunwoody, GA) to play the Wildcats in a non-league game on Monday, March 17. The Wildcats come into the game with a record of 4-3. Dunwoody won 11-9 in their recent non-league game against Chattahoochee (Alpharetta, GA)

The Spartans now have a 6-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walton for a non-league game on Saturday, March 15. Greater Atlanta Christian will play a Raiders team coming off a 10-7 non-league loss to Blessed Trinity (Roswell, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 3-5.
