The Bingham Miners soccer squad scored 2 points and held the visiting Mountain Ridge Sentinels to 0 in the Miners league victory on Friday.

The Miners now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they travel to Salt Lake Academy for a 6A Region 2 bout on Tuesday, March 18. Bingham will play a Griffins squad coming off a 3-2 league win over Herriman (West Herriman, UT). The Griffins record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Mountain Ridge moves to 1-5 on the year. The Sentinels host Copper Hills (West Jordan, UT) to play the Grizzlies in a 6A Region 2 bout on Wednesday, March 19. The Grizzlies go into the bout with a record of 2-2. Copper Hills 1-1 in their recent league bout against Riverton (Riverton, UT)
