In Friday's non-league match, the host Anacoco Indians softball team scored a nice 13-3 win over the Montgomery Tigers.

The Indians (9-3) will now prepare for their match against Avoyelles (Moreauville, LA). The Mustangs come into the non-league match with a 0-12 record. In their last match, Avoyelles was routed by Port Barre (Port Barre, LA), 16-2, in a non-league match.

In their next game, the Tigers battle the Sacred Heart Trojans (Ville Platte, LA) in a non-league match, on Saturday, March 15. Montgomery will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Trojans come into the match with a 8-4 record after their 10-5 non-league win over Teurlings Catholic (Lafayette, LA).
