North Carolina High School Softball - Maiden tipped by Bandys

March 14, 2025: Catawba, NC 28609

Bandys Trojans (Catawba, NC) backers left the game pleased Friday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Maiden Blue Devils (Maiden, NC), 6-4 in a league game.

With the triumph, Bandys upgrades its record to 3-5 on the year. The Trojans travel to Newton-Conover (Newton, NC) to play the Red Devils in a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A game on Tuesday, March 18. The Red Devils enter the game with a record of 2-5. Newton-Conover lost 15-0 in their recent league game against West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC)

The Blue Devils now own a 2-4 record. They play next when they host Bunker Hill for a Catawba Valley Athletic 2A game on Tuesday, March 18. Maiden will play a Bears squad coming off a 10-0 league win over East Burke (Connelly Springs, NC). The Bears record now stands at 6-2.
